Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Do I need to sign up or log in to use the app?
No, you do not need to create an account. All of the app’s core features are available without any sign-up or login. We designed the app to be easy and accessible — just open the app and begin adding music or recording voice-overs on your videos.
2. How can I add music to my video using the app?
It’s simple! Follow these steps:
- Import a Video: Open the app and tap the “+” button to start a new project and choose a video from your device’s gallery.
- Add Audio/Music: Tap “Record” to start recording your voiceover, tap “My Music” for adding your own music from the device library, or you can choose from our library of royalty-free sound effects or music clips.
- Trim and Position Audio: Once your audio track is added, you can trim it to the desired length and drag it on the timeline to align perfectly with your video. The app also lets you cut and edit the video frames.
- Adjust Volume: You can adjust the volume levels of the original video audio and the added music separately, ensuring the combined audio sounds just right.
- Preview the Result: Play back the video within the app to preview how the music and video sync together. Make further adjustments if needed.
- Save or Share: When you’re happy with the result, tap the Save button and choose the export quality. The edited video will be exported and saved to your device’s gallery. You can also share it directly to social media (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) or send it to friends.
See our tutorials or the how-to section for further assistance.3. How can I add music to my video using the app?
Yes, our free version is supported by in-app advertisements and analytics tools. We display ads (via Google AdMob and possibly other ad networks) in non-intrusive spots in the app. We also gather anonymous analytics data to understand usage patterns and improve the app.
Rest assured: we do not collect personal information like your name or contacts, and we do not store your videos on our servers. The analytics may track events like which features are used most or if the app crashes, so we can fix issues and make the app better. For more details on what data is collected and how it’s used, please see our Privacy Policy. You may choose to upgrade to a premium version for a cleaner experience.
4. How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Managing your subscription depends on whether you are using an iOS device (iPhone/iPad) or an Android device:
On iOS (iPhone/iPad): Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel or manage the subscription, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Tap your name (this opens Apple ID settings), then tap Subscriptions.
- Find Add Music to Video in your list of subscriptions and tap it.
- Here you can see the subscription details. Tap Cancel Subscription to end the subscription. If you don't see a cancel option, it may already be canceled and won't renew.
On Android: Subscriptions are managed via your Google Play Store account. Steps to cancel or change your subscription:- Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Tap your profile icon (upper right corner) and select Payments & subscriptions ->Subscriptions.
- Locate Add Music to Video on your subscriptions list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
- Follow any on-screen instructions. Google will preserve your subscription benefits until the end of the billing cycle, then not charge again.
Important: Simply deleting the app will not cancel your subscription. You must follow the steps above to avoid being charged further. For more details, refer to Google’s help page on managing subscriptions.Refunds: As noted in our Terms, we (the app developers) are not able to process refunds directly. If you believe you’re entitled to a refund (for example, if you were charged after canceling in time, or you had an issue with the purchase), you will need to request the refund through Apple or Google support. They have mechanisms to review and issue refunds for purchases made under their systems. Typically, for Apple, you can report a problem via reportaproblem.apple.com and for Google, you can use the Play Store support or their online form for refunds. Feel free to contact us as well if you’re not sure how to proceed, and we will guide you to the right resources.
5. What should I do when experiencing a problem with the app?
We’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble! Here are a few steps you can try:
- Ensure You Have the Latest Version: Check the App Store or Play Store for updates. We frequently release updates with bug fixes and improvements. Updating to the latest version can often resolve issues.
- Restart the App: Sometimes, simply closing the app (removing it from recent apps) and reopening it can clear a temporary glitch.
- Reboot Your Device: A fresh restart of your phone/tablet can resolve memory or system-related issues that might affect the app.
- Check Device Storage: If your device is very low on storage, it could cause problems when exporting videos. Free up some space and try again.
- Contact Support: If the problem persists, please email us at our support address with details. Let us know what action caused the issue (for example, “The app crashes every time I try to save a video after adding two music tracks”). We will work with you to identify the problem. If it’s a bug in the app, we will strive to fix it in an upcoming update. If it’s something we can help you resolve (like a specific video file issue), we’ll do our best to assist.
We take app stability seriously and want to ensure you have a smooth experience. Your reports can also help us improve the app for all users.6. How can I request new features or give feedback?
We love to hear your ideas! If you have suggestions for new features or improvements, please send them to us at info.addmusic@gmail.com. While we can’t promise to implement every idea, we carefully consider all user feedback when planning updates. Many of our best features have come from users like you. So don’t hesitate to share your thoughts.

- The renewal charge will be processed within the 24 hours prior to your current period ending, and it will be charged to the same payment method you used initially (your App Store or Play Store account).
- If you cancel in time, you will not be charged for the next period. You will continue to have access to premium features until your current paid period expires.
- We do not provide refunds for forgetting to cancel on time. It is the user’s responsibility to manage their subscription.

Q4 above or the instructions provided in the app’s subscription management section. If you need further help, contact us and we’ll guide you.
Additional Tips and Resources
- User Guide: Check out the Tutorial section on the settings menu for a step-by-step guide on using the app’s features. This includes screenshots and examples that can help you master the art of adding music to your videos.
- Device Permissions: For the app to function properly, it will request certain permissions, such as access to your Photos/Media library (to import and save videos) and Microphone (if you use the voice-over feature). Granting these permissions is necessary for those features to work. We respect your privacy – the app only uses these permissions for their intended purpose and does not collect personal data from them. If you ever deny a permission and want to use that feature later, you can enable the permission via your device settings under the app’s permissions.
- Compatibility: The app works on iPhone, iPad, and most Android phones and tablets. Ensure your device meets the minimum requirements (check the App Store or Play Store listing for details on required iOS or Android version). If you find any device-specific issues, let us know. We continuously work on optimizing the app for a wide range of devices.
